The Greater New York section of today’s Wall Street Journal has an article titled, “Brooklyn Jobs Swell.” A study by the Center for an Urban Future shows Brookyln created nearly half of the city’s new jobs. That got me thinking: why not the Bronx? The Bronx is home to the Bronx Science Consortium that includes Fordham University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and others; and the Fordham Foundry and Center for Digital Transformation. The excellent transportation, lower real estate costs, the availability of technical skills, combined with the education base makes the Bronx an excellent candidate to become a digital hub in the near future.
