For long people have talked about whether technology creates jobs or replaces us. Today’s WSJ has an opinion piece “Robots, 3-D Printers and Other Looming Innovations” which continues to discuss the pros and cons of technology innovation in job creation. Another article “Robots Need Supervisors Too” talks about the need for technical and human skills in managing the robots. Technology may perform some of our routine tasks freeing up time for leisure and enjoyment! Gone will be 40 hour work weeks! We would still need higher-level skills and jobs to create and manage the technological innovation. What do you think?
