Shuhong Fan is a Student Fellow at the Center for Summer 2013. He is completing the M.S. in Business Analytics from the Graduate School of Business, Fordham University. Shuhong received a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Nottingham, majoring in International Business Management. Shuhong has a diverse background in marketing, analytics, IT and finance. During his fellowship he’ll help develop curriculum and conduct research in different aspects of analytics.

Andrea Gallego spent 3 years at SUNY Stony Brook University and 1 year at the London School of Economics, obtaining her BA in Economics and Statistics. During her time there she became an INROADS intern and spent 4 years with Lehman Brothers. Upon graduation, she began her career at Lehman up until it’s bankruptcy. Shortly after she joined the Simons Foundation where she worked closely with the executive team to grow the Foundation and its programs. The Foundation grew from 12 people to 45 people during her 3 years there.
Andrea’s time at the Foundation helped her identify her passion for data driven decision-making, and strategic planning. She left the Foundation in August 2012 to join Fordham’s new Masters program in Business Analytics with a scholarship awarded by the Fordham Business Competition. In the short months since her time at Fordham Business School, Andrea has become a case partner for the Fordham Management Consulting Club, and recently received an offer to join IBM Global Business Services as a senior consultant in their Business Analytics and Optimization Group.
She is an active volunteer with Imentor and an alumnus of Inroads, Inc. She is also a participant and Team USA member of the USA triathlon Association and Boston Marathon qualifier.
Di Shao
Di Shao is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Business Analytics program in the Graduate School of Business. As a Fellow at the Center, Di is working on several projects in curriculum development and ICT research. She’s helping develop a series of workshops in advanced decision making with Excel and analyzing the ITU database of country-level ICTs using business analytics techniques. Di grew up in China and prior to coming to Fordham, studied Finance and also worked as a customer manager in a commercial bank.
